• After the location is added return to the category and select it. (You may need to refresh your browser)
• Rate your housing and submit.
• Your grade and comments will appear after it has been reviewed.

What is the purpose of grading my college housing?

Your grading, reviews, and comments will be placed online for other college students to view. This allows other students the ability to make a more informed decision when choosing a location or landlord. By sharing your experiences, you give fellow students the chance to know a little bit more before signing their name to a lease.

Will my landlord be able to find out what I wrote?

Your review, grade, and comments will be posted online and will be available for anybody to view. You can choose for your review to remain anonymous or you may choose to have your username attached to your review. Your email address will not be made public nor given to anybody else to contact you.

My college is not currently listed on the site. What can I do?

With over 1000 schools and universities currently listed on our site it is easy to miss a few. We would be happy to add it. Please send us an email with the name of your school and the state in which it resides. Or if you find an error in the name of your school, please let us know so it can be corrected.

I live in an apartment and would like to grade it, however I am not a college student.

We are sorry you cannot add your location to this site. GradeYourHousing.com is intended for collegiate housing and the grading is done from a college student’s perspective. There are other websites which allow you to rate general apartments.

Why must I confirm my email address?

We require you to provide a verifiable email address to help prevent people from submitting false or multiple reviews. We want to maintain the integrity of our reviews and do not want landlords or management companies to be able to grade all of their own properties. Nor do we want disgruntled tenants submitting multiple reviews of a property.

What are you going to use my email address for?

We will NOT use your email address for SPAM. We will NOT provide your email address to any other marketers, companies, or any other entities. You can be assured that we hate unsolicited advertisements as much as you do and it will never be used for that purpose.

We MAY use your email address to contact you if you are the winner of a sweepstakes or contest. We also might use it to contact you regarding your review or something related to GradeYourHousing.com.

If in the future we create an E-newsletter or send emails with special offers relating to your school or housing in your area we will require you to explicitly opt-in to these mailings. We will never just begin emailing you things without your consent.

IN OTHER WORDS – Chances are we won’t be using your email address.
